3 Ways to Use Your Scented Candles

Candles are so valuable in daily life. With the broad assortment of scents that candle making creates, you can find any scent imaginable to solve several household and personal matters. Read on to learn ways you can use them now.

Your home may benefit from these. First, let's discover a couple household uses for scented candles. Even the feeling of your home can be improved by the wonderful aroma of a scented candle. Bathrooms, kitchens and mudrooms can all be benefited. The sweet aroma of scented candles can freshen even the dankest places at home.

But what if children and/or pets are part of your family? No problem! Scented candles can help you too. In fact, your home may especially benefit from them. Kitty litter spots, pet feeding areas, kennels, playrooms and diaper changing stations are all areas that need them from time to time.

However, if you chose to improve your home by burning candles with pets and children present, always use safety measures. This is important to ensure the ones you love are not injured. Always keep them out of reach of children; also be sure they are not in places where they could be tipped to the floor-this could endanger the whole household. Then of course a burning candle should never be left unattended.

Decorating With Scented Candles

Imagine walking into a room and catching the wonderful aroma of freshly baked sugar cookies. Or walking into your bedroom and immediately feeling relaxed when you smell the soothing fragrance of lavender or fresh cut roses. Or taking a long warm bubble bath while inhaling the clean, fresh fragrance of citrus and sage and you relax. All of these experiences can happen just by striking a match and lighting scented candles! Candles are available in a variety of materials, containers, sizes and shapes.

Floating candles
can be used as centerpieces or table accents when placed in a bowl of water. Add special effects by adding flowers, rose petals, or cranberries to add a festive flair. Add floating candles to your pond, swimming pool, or tub for a tropical, romantic mood. Floating candles can be purchased in many shapes, including starfish, flowers, cupcakes, and more.

Gel candles are always good ideas for gifting as they can be personalized to fit the occasion. Gel candles are transparent and often contain fruits, flowers, shells, toys or other item made of wax to create a certain look. Place gel candles filled with fruits on your kitchen countertop for the look of freshly canned orchard look. Light them and enjoy the fragrance of fresh peaches, pears or apples. Re-create memories from your favorite vacation the beach by getting a gel candle with a tropical scene made with sand, shells and toy seagulls.
